There are two primary developer features available: the Shell and the Console. It may be found in the "Misc." section of that mod's download page. The Long War mod team has made available such a patch mod that re-enables the Console in EW. The modding tools UPK Utils and UPK-Modder provide the mechanisms for implementing such 'simulated native functions'. However, recent investigations into the UPK File Format have determined how to convert a 'native function' into a 'simulated native function', which permits alterations. Enemy Within disabled both the Shell and the Console with a native function.
